Ron Belanger has been a lover of wood and wood worker for many years and his guitar making began 20 years ago with the desire for a fine instrument for his own musical pursuits. In 1998 Ron built his first guitar – today he builds many types of string instruments for clients around the world.
Ron Belanger personally hand-crafts fretted instruments including 6 and 12 string guitars, Ukuleles, Irish Bouzoukis/Octave Mandolins, Resonator Guitars, and Hawaiian Lap-Steel Guitars. Choose standard and/or optional features including top quality woods, finishes, hardware and pick-ups.
Standard wood choices for backs and sides include Indian Rosewood, Mahogany, Bubinga and Maple. Or you can upgrade to Figured Koa, Figured Bubinga, Cocobolo, Mun Ebony, Zirkote , Figured Maple and Macassar Ebony and many others.
