Fall 2010 Starts with Sales
This fall is starting off with a bang. The four festivals I exhibited at over the summer have resulted in four “for sure” and two “when I can get the money together” results. Two are bouzoukis. One is going to Andrew Dale of the “Once” a hot newish Newfoundland trio, recently signed with Borealis Records and receiving rave reviews here in Canada and internationally.

The other Bouzouki is to my good friend Dave Gallagher who made his decision after playing the one I completed this summer at the Woods Music and Dance Camp.
One of the two guitars is going to a good home in Michigan, near Port Huron. She is coming to Orillia this weekend to finalize the details. It will be delivered in 2011. The other guitar will find its home in New York State. Laurie came by my booth at Mariposa and really liked what he played. I am trying to find him a nice set of Brazilian Rosewood to match with a Red Cedar top. Exciting builds to put together!!!
Right now I am building a solid body resonator with a biscuit bridge and an acoustic piezo pickup.
I am looking to do some instruments I can sell in the $1000.00 to $1500.00 range.
Ukeleles are also in my plans for the next year or so.
Stay tuned for photos and updates.
All the best
